About
The Boca Raton Historical Society was founded in 1972 to save and share the city’s history. It runs The Schmidt Boca Raton History Museum inside the 1927 Historic Town Hall downtown. Visitors can see exhibits on the pioneer days, Addison Mizner, World War II and IBM, and join tours, talks and family programs. The society also keeps research archives and works to protect historic buildings.
