AFFORDABLE VETERINARY CARE THAT SAVES LIVES AND KEEPS FAMILIES TOGETHER.
For more than three decades, Tri-County Animal Rescue has been known for saving the lives of homeless dogs and cats. But its commitment to animals doesn’t end when a pet finds a home.
Through its onsite Lois Pope Pet Clinic, Tri-County’s community veterinary hospital, pet owners throughout the area can access quality, compassionate veterinary care at affordable rates.
It’s an important extension of the rescue organization’s mission. Because saving animals also means helping families care for the pets already sharing their homes—and making sure cost doesn’t become a barrier to keeping them healthy.
The clinic provides a range of veterinary services, from routine wellness visits and vaccinations to dental care, diagnostics and surgical procedures. Its veterinary team serves pets throughout the community, not just animals adopted through Tri-County.
“Too often, families face gut-wrenching surrenders when medical costs become more than they can endure,” said Executive Director Suzi Goldsmith, of Tri-County Animal Rescue. “By making quality veterinary care more affordable and accessible, we can save lives while helping keep pets where they belong—with the families who love them.”
Now, Tri-County is making that care even more accessible.
The Lois Pope Pet Clinic recently began accepting Cherry Payment Plans, giving qualifying pet owners the option to spread veterinary expenses over time rather than paying the entire bill upfront.
Pet owners can apply in seconds without a hard credit check or impact to their credit score. Options include four interest-free payments as well as smaller monthly payments for qualifying plans.
And there’s another way the community can help keep pets and their families together. Donations to Tri-County’s Medical Fund help make affordable veterinary care available to more families, extending the impact beyond one pet or one household.

For those who may not need the clinic’s services themselves, contributing to the Medical Fund is an opportunity to help another family access the care their pet needs—and potentially avoid having to make the heartbreaking decision to surrender a beloved companion because of medical costs.
It’s a full-circle approach to saving lives: providing care, supporting families and giving the community a way to help more pets stay healthy and at home.
