There are people throughout our community who don’t wait to be asked. They see a need and respond. They give their time, share their expertise, open doors, make introductions, support causes, mentor others and find ways—large and small—to make life better for someone else.
We call them Good Deed Doers.
In this inaugural issue of Simply Good, we celebrate some of those individuals and the impact they are making throughout Boca/Delray. Their stories are different, but they share something important: they chose to get involved.
And that’s where good gets interesting.
One person takes action. Someone else notices. An idea gets shared. A connection is made. More people participate. And what began as one good deed can create a ripple that reaches far beyond the person who started it.
That’s also the idea behind Simply Good.
We created this year-round go-to community destination and resource not simply to tell you what’s happening, but to make it easier to connect, engage and participate in the community we share.
We want Simply Good to become a place where you meet people worth knowing, discover organizations making an impact, connect with businesses invested in our community, explore ideas worth sharing and find more ways to experience and enjoy where we live.
But a true community destination isn’t built by its publishers alone. It’s built by the community that participates in it.
